I haven’t even read it and I also don’t want a 9-to-5 job. That’s why I don’t really want to and I don’t have the interest of going into college/ University. I know that and I will end up working for someone else again with all that knowledge and time. I wanna be a boss on my own my friend that passed away he always called me boss
But with that being said, College is not for everyone university is not for everyone but a good paying job should be and just because that’s what our parents want for us doesn’t mean that’s what God‘s plan is for us and a lot of people need to understand realize and be more aware
Always wanted to go into business. It seems like destiny to me.
Ebun, OMG! I feel so great this morning knowing I'm not the only one thinking like this! I don't want an on-site job. It gives me so much anxiety thinking about that kind of life. It scares me so much, not even in this crazy Lagos. Once I applied for an on-site job because of the pressure at home and they got back to me, I found myself talking to God, please this is not what I want, this is not the kind of life I want. I can't handle it, when I tell people how I don't want that kind of life. They tell me I'm just being lazy, but I know if I should live that kind of life in this crazy Lagos, I might die before my time. It's not like I'm idle, oh, but they feel I can do both together, I can work on-site and still continue with my online job. While I was in school, I know how hard I used to cry every day with serious headaches. Omo, I am not going through that again🥹
“Many of these jobs will offer a salary that’s way below minimum wage (77,000 per month), but the attack job roles will be that of two and three DIFFERENT positions combined”
Nigeria needs to do better honestly. I felt the frustration. It’s not fair to the people that deserve it.
And THANK YOU for the mention ❤️✨
I’m not even going to get tired of telling you thank you. May this book be worth it 🥹
God bless you Ebun.
Amen
I have a slightly different take on 9-5s but it only applies to countries that work.
In the case of my country, yeah 9-5s are shit.
Glad we agree on that
Reading this, seeing my boss’s text message pop up and thinking “can’t you see you are the cause of all my problems in this life”😭
😂😂😂

I wish more people would be aware tbh.
I wish you all the best too!

That’s how I feel
”That’s one thing I’ve noticed about the members of this older Nigerian generation.
They can be so resistant to change, and anything that doesn’t align with what they’ve known for years.
Imagine calling AI a “fallen angel” or saying that one day Opay will just “run away with all our money”…"
This!😂😂🤣
The highlight of reading through…🤲🏽💯👏🏽
i wish i was a trust fund kid mehn😔
Honestly living the life I want and not that of my parents.
9-5 might be safe but is not the way of living for me.
That’s how I feel
I believe the birth of the job market is the death of creativity.
Thank you for this, cause I feel insane whenever I say I don’t want a job
I feel so justified when I say it, almost to a level of pride sef.
I’ve seen jobs and I’ve seen people with jobs, and I’d rather be unemployed in my own right.

Honestly, it’s not.
You’re welcome (again😂).
Don’t pressure yourself too much, it’s your first time and you’ve already done way more than most people ever get to do.
Enjoy it, tell people about it, learn from it. The next one will be much better, and the next one after that, like that like that.
